Paid Family Leave
New York State requires New York employers to provide eligible employees with Paid Family Leave. This requirement ensures eligible employees with 12 weeks of job protected, paid time off. This time can be taken to bond with a new child, to care for a family member with a serious health condition, or to assist family when a family member is deployed abroad on active military service. These 12 weeks can be taken consecutively, or in daily increments.
